Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health is "strongly recommending" that anyone over 70 years of age self-isolate. This also applies to those who have compromised immune systems and/or underlying medical conditions.
Self-isolate means:
- Only leaving home or seeing other people for essential reasons such as medical appointments or buying food.
- Where possible, you should seek services over the phone or internet
- Where possible ask for help from friends, family or neighbours with essential errands.
